Former Pakistani Minister Tweets on Recent Developments
India has expressed strong condemnation following a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, where militants opened fire on tourists visiting the scenic region of Kashmir, claiming 26 lives. Investigations have confirmed that the attackers were associated with The Resistance Front (TRF), a terrorist organization affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and reportedly supported by Pakistan.

Following the TRF's public claim of responsibility, Indian security agencies released sketches of three suspects linked to the attack. The individuals have been identified as Pakistani nationals Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah, and Abu Talha.

In response to these developments, Pakistan has denied any involvement in the incident while simultaneously deploying forces along the border. Reports suggest that fear is growing in Pakistan over the possibility of another surgical strike by India.

Against this backdrop, former Pakistani Minister Fawad Ahmed Hussain Chaudhry made significant remarks on the platform ‘X’. “Whether India attacks or threatens, we will all stand united to defend the country,” he stated. He emphasized that despite political differences, the people of Pakistan would remain united for the sake of their nation. “To protect our motherland, we will stand together under the Pakistani flag,” he said.

In a subsequent post, Fawad Ahmed Hussain Chaudhry urged the Narendra Modi government to exercise restraint. He noted that the Indian cabinet had concluded a security meeting and appealed to avoid risking the lives of millions by succumbing to sensationalist media reports that could fuel war.
