Singer Pravasthi Aradhya Accuses Reality Show Judges of Bias and Humiliation

Singer Pravasthi Aradhya has made sensational allegations against music composer M. M. Keeravani, playback singer Sunitha, and lyricist Chandrabose, who serve as judges on the popular Telugu music reality show Paadutha Teeyaga. She expressed deep anguish, stating that she faced severe injustice, favoritism, and humiliation during her participation in the program.

Pravasthi Aradhya alleged that the judges on Paadutha Teeyaga displayed a biased attitude. She stated that contestants who performed songs composed by M. M. Keeravani were given higher scores. She remarked that this approach undermined the talents of other contestants. Pravasthi criticized the practice of exclusively prioritizing songs composed by Keeravani, stating that it was an unfair method.

She further stated that she was subjected to grave humiliation on the show’s set. When she shared that she performs at weddings and other events to earn a livelihood, the judges allegedly used that information to demean her. Pravasthi expressed distress that the judges mocked her profession, making her feel belittled.

In addition, she alleged that she was subjected to body shaming on the set. She claimed the judges made remarks about her body shape, which caused her significant emotional distress.

Pravasthi Aradhya said that the behavior of the judges deeply hurt her. She claimed that during the shoot, they looked at her as if she were an insect and treated her with disdain. Overcome with emotion, she said she had sung many songs in Tamil and performed on numerous platforms, but had never faced such a humiliating experience. She expressed that it was unfortunate to encounter such treatment on a prestigious Telugu platform.
