Railway Jobs 2025: Eligibility, Deadline, and Application Details Revealed

The Indian Railways has initiated a large-scale recruitment process, announcing a notification to fill 9,970 vacancies for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot across various regions of the country.

According to the notification, candidates who have completed their Class 10 education along with a relevant ITI certificate, diploma, or engineering degree in the concerned trade are eligible to apply. 

Regarding the age criteria, the upper age limit is set at 30 years as of July 1, 2025. However, age relaxations will be applicable for candidates based on reservation categories, as per government norms.

The application process, which has already commenced, will conclude on May 11, 2025. Selection of candidates will be done through a Computer-Based Test (CBT), as per the notification.

Applicants from General and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹500, while candidates from all other categories must pay ₹250. Interested individuals can submit their applications by logging in to the official website of the Indian Railways.
