Mallareddy’s Daughter-in-Law Preethi Reddy Saves Passenger’s Life with CPR on Flight

During a flight on Saturday night, Dr. Preethi Reddy, daughter-in-law of former minister Mallareddy, saved the life of an elderly co-passenger through timely administration of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). The incident occurred aboard an IndiGo flight, where her swift medical response proved critical.
According to details, a 74-year-old male passenger fell severely ill during the IndiGo flight around midnight on Saturday. The man lost consciousness and began to expel fluid from his mouth, causing concern among fellow passengers and the cabin crew.
Dr. Preethi Reddy, who was also on board the same flight, noticed the situation and responded immediately. A medical professional by training, she performed a preliminary examination and determined that the man’s blood pressure had dropped significantly. As his condition became critical, she promptly began CPR procedures.
After sustained efforts, Dr. Preethi Reddy’s intervention led to some improvement in the elderly man's condition. Upon landing, airport medical staff transferred the passenger to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
