Chandrababu Accuses YSRCP of Hypocrisy Over Temple Devotion, Reflects on Past Misjudgment

On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti today, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu addressed a public meeting organized in Ponnekallu village of Guntur district. During his speech, he launched a sharp attack against leaders of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), accusing them of spreading false propaganda about cow deaths at a local cowshed.
“Claims are being made that cattle died in the cowshed… and he (Bhumana) is said to be deeply distressed! I fail to understand how those who have previously attacked deities have now suddenly developed such deep devotion for Lord Venkateswara. You have never been ones to follow traditional practices or rituals in the name of Lord Venkateswara. In our home, Lord Venkateswara is revered as a family deity. It hurts when actions are taken that desecrate the sanctity of our faith. And yet, today you’re shedding tears, pretending as if something unthinkable has happened. It’s time to put an end to such hypocritical theatrics,” said Chandrababu Naidu.
Reflecting on a past incident, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated, “I too was deceived once. I believed a hatchet wound to be a heart attack and ended up misjudging the situation. You must remember one thing… had I correctly analyzed and understood the situation that day, and had the culprits been arrested immediately, things would have turned out differently. That one small mistake forced the entire state to pay a heavy price. Therefore, it is our responsibility to expose the conspiracies being hatched by the opposition through public awareness. If we fail to do so, there remains a risk of further harm.”
