Ajith Kumar’s ‘Good Bad Ugly’ Crosses ₹100 Crore Worldwide

Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar's latest film Good Bad Ugly is generating impressive box office returns. Released on April 10, the film has reportedly grossed ₹100 crore worldwide within its first four days of release.
Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, this action-comedy thriller marks the 63rd film in Ajith Kumar's career. In this movie, Ajith Kumar plays three distinct roles representing the personas of ‘Good’, ‘Bad’, and ‘Ugly’. The film opened strongly in Tamil Nadu, debuting across 2,400 screens and collecting ₹28.5 crore on its opening day. It has set a record for the highest opening-day collection among Tamil films released in 2025 so far.
According to the production team, the action sequences in the film were shot under the supervision of international stunt experts. Actress Trisha stars as the female lead, while Arjun Das plays the antagonist.
The digital streaming rights for Good Bad Ugly were acquired by Netflix for ₹95 crore. The film is expected to begin streaming on the platform starting in May. Produced on a budget of approximately ₹270–300 crore, the film is on track to become one of the most successful Tamil releases of 2025 if its current box office trend continues, according to film analysts.
