BCCI Introduces Robo Dog to Add Flair to IPL Broadcasts

In its continuous efforts to enhance the appeal of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has introduced an innovative feature to enrich the live broadcast experience for viewers. As part of this initiative, a robotic dog powered by artificial intelligence was recently unveiled. A video related to this development was shared on social media.
This AI-enabled Robo Dog has joined the broadcast team and was introduced by renowned commentator Danny Morrison. Prior to the match between Mumbai and Delhi, the Robo Dog greeted players during their practice session. It went a step further by shaking hands with cricketers Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya. Responding to Morrison’s voice commands, the Robo Dog entertained players and added a playful touch to the pre-match proceedings.
