Hyderabad: Drunken Driving Case Registered Against K. Keshava Rao’s Grandson

Vasisht Dhruv (21), grandson of Telangana Government Advisor K. Keshava Rao, allegedly drove a car under the influence of alcohol and rammed into an auto rickshaw. The incident occurred last night when he and a friend were travelling by car from KBR Park towards Jubilee Hills Check Post.

At the Jubilee Hills Check Post, a traffic signal caused a trolley auto ahead of them to stop. Dhruv, who was driving the vehicle from behind, reportedly failed to halt in time and collided directly into the auto. The impact severely damaged the front portion of the car and the rear of the auto rickshaw.

Police conducted a breath analyzer test on Vasisht Dhruv, which reportedly showed a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 150 points. As a result, law enforcement officials seized the car and registered a suo motu case against Dhruv. The police are currently investigating the matter.

Vasisht Dhruv is the son of Viplav Kumar, who resides in Banjara Hills. Viplav Kumar had earlier served as the Chairman of the Telangana Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation during the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government.
