IPL 2025: Mumbai Scores 205 Against In-Form Delhi

In the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season, Mumbai Indians have been among the poorest-performing teams. After playing five matches, the team has suffered four defeats and currently stands at the 9th position on the points table. Today, Mumbai Indians are facing Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, Mumbai Indians posted a total of 205 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Apart from Rohit Sharma, who scored 18 runs, and captain Hardik Pandya, who was dismissed for just 2, the rest of the top-order batters delivered strong performances. Opener Ryan Rickelton scored 41 runs off 25 balls, Suryakumar Yadav made 40 off 28 deliveries, Tilak Varma contributed a solid 59 off 33 balls, and Naman Dhir added an unbeaten 38 runs from 17 balls.
In the bowling department for Delhi Capitals, Rasikh Dar Salam (also known as Vipraj Nigam) and Kuldeep Yadav claimed two wickets each, while Mukesh Kumar took one wicket.
As Delhi Capitals continue their unbeaten run in this tournament, the key question is whether Mumbai Indians’ total of 205 will be enough to stop the in-form team.
