Government Colleges Excel in Intermediate Results: Chief Minister Chandrababu

Intermediate examination results were released today in Andhra Pradesh. Minister for Education Nara Lokesh announced the results in a simple and timely manner. According to the official data, the pass percentage among first-year students stood at 70 percent, while second-year students recorded an 83 percent pass rate.
Reacting to the results, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed satisfaction over the performance of government junior college students in this year’s Intermediate Public Examinations. He extended heartfelt congratulations to all successful candidates.
"It is a matter of great joy that students from government junior colleges have achieved remarkable results, which have not been witnessed in the past decade. In government colleges, 47 percent of first-year students and 69 percent of second-year students passed the examinations. Compared to last year, this marks an increase of 11 percent in the first year and 9 percent in the second year," said N. Chandrababu Naidu.
He attributed this improvement to a series of reforms introduced by the state government in the education sector. "Distribution of free textbooks and notebooks, mid-day meal schemes, centralized evaluation, monitoring systems, reformed time management practices, the 100 Days Success Programme, subject-wise WhatsApp groups, and a guardian support system—these reforms have greatly benefited the students," explained N. Chandrababu Naidu.
