Pastor Praveen Death: Police Share Timeline and Forensic Evidence

Eluru Range Inspector General (IG) Ashok Kumar conducted a crucial press conference on Saturday regarding the death of Pastor Pagadala Praveen, which had created a sensation across the Telugu states. During the media briefing, the IG revealed comprehensive details about what happened on the day of Praveen's death, including when he departed from Hyderabad, where he stopped during his journey, and presented CCTV footage documenting the events.

Ashok Kumar stated that the police had investigated the chain of events from Hyderabad to the accident site, and had questioned individuals with whom Pastor Praveen had spoken that day. The IG displayed CCTV footage from various points along the route, revealing that Pastor Praveen had experienced three minor accidents during his journey.
The IG showed visuals of damage to the two-wheeler Pastor Praveen was riding, including a broken headlight. He mentioned that Pastor Praveen had made UPI payments at petrol bunks and at two wine shops. Due to the broken headlight, Pastor Praveen had been using his right indicator while traveling, according to the official.

When describing the accident scene, Ashok Kumar explained that Pastor Praveen was traveling at 70 kilometers per hour when he reached the accident site. He slipped due to the gravel road and fell into a roadside pit. The police clarified that because the pit was semi-circular in shape, the bike became airborne and landed on top of Pastor Praveen.

Addressing the suspicions surrounding Pastor Pagadala Praveen's death, IG Ashok Kumar said that they had conducted a thorough and comprehensive investigation. He detailed how they had traced every movement from the time Pastor Praveen departed until he reached the accident site. The post-mortem report also revealed that Pastor Praveen had consumed alcohol at the time, the IG stated.

The IG explained that the CCTV footage had been sent for forensic examination, and the report confirmed their findings. He asserted that it was conclusively determined that Pastor Praveen's death was caused by his bike slipping on gravel and falling, and no other vehicle had hit his bike.

In closing, IG Ashok Kumar announced that notices had been sent to several individuals who had spread false information about Pastor Praveen's death, and legal action would be taken against them.
