Chebrolu Kiran Shielded by Nara Lokesh, Claims Ambati Rambabu
Ambati Rambabu, former minister and senior leader of the YSRCP, alleged that Nara Lokesh, minister and son of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, is supporting Chebrolu Kiran, an ITDP worker accused of making derogatory comments against Bharathi, the wife of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Speaking to the media at Nallapadu Police Station, Ambati Rambabu questioned why Chebrolu Kiran had not been arrested despite repeatedly making inappropriate remarks against YSRCP leaders over a long period. He claimed that this lack of action was due to the backing Kiran received from Nara Lokesh.
Ambati Rambabu visited Nallapadu Police Station to meet former Member of Parliament Gorantla Madhav, who is currently in police custody. He stated that his visit was intended to inquire about how the police treated Madhav the previous night. According to Ambati, the police informed him that Madhav would be transferred from Nallapadu Police Station to Nagarapalem Police Station. They also assured that he would be allowed to meet Madhav at the time of his presentation before the court.
