Gorantla Madhav Alleges Conspiracy to Attack Jagan During Ramagiri Visit
Former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Member of Parliament Gorantla Madhav has stated that Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is the most popular leader in Andhra Pradesh. Quoting intelligence reports, he said Jagan Mohan Reddy is also the individual facing the highest level of threat.
Gorantla Madhav remarked that wherever Jagan Mohan Reddy goes, thousands of people gather, and therefore, it is the government's responsibility to provide him with adequate security. He demanded that Jagan Mohan Reddy be granted three-tier security protection.
He criticized the state government for allegedly reducing the security cover for Jagan Mohan Reddy, while simultaneously granting Z category security to Minister Nara Lokesh. “Jagan’s security is being downgraded, even as Nara Lokesh is provided with Z protection,” he alleged.
Speaking about Jagan Mohan Reddy’s recent visit to Ramagiri, Gorantla Madhav claimed there was a clear failure in security arrangements. He noted that while Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha had announced that 1,100 police personnel were deployed for the visit, a majority of them were stationed outside the residence of Paritala Sunitha, which he strongly criticized.
Gorantla Madhav alleged that a conspiracy was plotted to attack Jagan Mohan Reddy mid-route by deliberately causing disruptions to his helicopter journey. He further stated that the actions of the Ramagiri Station House Officer (SHO) were shameful and added that the SHO's behavior on social media was laughable.
