Relief for Posani Krishna Murali in Andhra Pradesh High Court
Actor Posani Krishna Murali has received relief from the Andhra Pradesh High Court in a legal case filed against him. The case was registered by the Sullurupeta police, following which Posani Krishna Murali filed a quash petition in the High Court seeking dismissal of the charges.
Upon reviewing the petition, the High Court directed the police not to take any further action against Posani Krishna Murali. The Court expressed displeasure over the inclusion of additional charges under Section 111 and allegations of portraying a woman in an obscene manner. The bench questioned the applicability of these sections and criticized the investigating officer, Murali Krishna, for allegedly disregarding the Court’s earlier directions.
The Court issued a Form 1 notice to Murali Krishna and ordered him to submit a reply counter. The next hearing in the case has been scheduled for the 24th of this month.
