Raghu Rama Krishna Raju Responds to Dr. Prabhavati’s Statement Claiming Memory Loss

Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Raghu Rama Krishna Raju has responded to the statement made by Dr. Prabhavati during a police investigation related to a custodial torture case, in which she reportedly said she had no recollection of the matter. While touring Undi in West Godavari district, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju addressed the media and expressed surprise over her remarks.
Raghu Rama Krishna Raju stated, “It is astonishing that Dr. Prabhavati claims to have no awareness about the injuries mentioned in the medical report she signed. I am unable to understand how someone with an MBBS degree could forget even the basic medical knowledge.”
He further added, “I believe arrangements will be made to help her regain her memory. The courts are not under our control, so we must respectfully accept whatever verdict is delivered.”
Raghu Rama Krishna Raju expressed hope that Dr. Prabhavati would recover her memory soon. “In some films, characters who forget their past suddenly regain their memory after receiving a blow to the head. I hope a similar scene is repeated in real life for Dr. Prabhavati. I pray that she returns to normalcy and recalls everything she learned during her MBBS education. Beyond that, we can only wait and pray to God,” he said.
He concluded by saying, “Let us wait until the 15th of this month to see what unfolds.”
