TDP Leadership Should Be Handed Over to Lokesh: Key Remarks by SVSN Varma

Former Pithapuram MLA SVSN Varma has once again made notable remarks, advocating for a significant shift in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leadership. After recently creating a stir by suggesting that Nara Lokesh should be appointed Deputy Chief Minister, SVSN Varma has now urged that the reins of the party be handed over to Lokesh.

Speaking at a public interaction program held at the TDP office in Kakinada district, SVSN Varma emphasized the need for Nara Lokesh to assume leadership of the party. “The party greatly needs Lokesh’s leadership,” said SVSN Varma, adding that he has formally appealed to Chandrababu Naidu to designate Nara Lokesh as the helmsman of the Telugu Desam Party.

SVSN Varma stated that the Yuvagalam padayatra (foot march) undertaken by Nara Lokesh had infused fresh enthusiasm among party cadres and significantly contributed to the party’s success. He stressed the necessity of preparing a roadmap for the party’s future leading up to the year 2047 and called on all party workers to express their full support for Lokesh’s leadership.

Currently, Minister Nara Lokesh serves as the TDP’s National General Secretary. While Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu continues as the National President of the party, Palla Srinivasa Rao holds the position of Andhra Pradesh TDP President.
