Orange and Yellow Alerts Issued for Telangana Districts as Rains Expected
The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has announced the possibility of rainfall today and tomorrow across several districts in Telangana and has urged the public to remain alert. According to the weather department, light to moderate rainfall accompanied by gusty winds, thunder, and lightning is expected in the districts of Khammam, Suryapet, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hanamkonda, Warangal, Mulugu, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, and Mahabubabad.
Due to the likelihood of gusty winds reaching speeds of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, an orange alert has been issued for these districts. The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has also issued a yellow alert for Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts, where light to moderate rainfall is expected.
