Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s Judicial Custody Extended Again by CID Court

Vallabhaneni Vamsi, the YSRCP leader and former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Gannavaram, continues to face a series of legal setbacks. In the case involving an attack on the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) central office in Gannavaram, the Crime Investigation Department (CID) court has once again extended his remand. The court issued orders extending his custody until April 23.

Along with Vallabhaneni Vamsi, nine other individuals who are also in judicial custody in connection with this case were produced before the court by CID officials on Wednesday.

In a separate case concerning the alleged kidnapping of Satyavardhan, the court had earlier extended Vallabhaneni Vamsi's remand on Tuesday. The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) Special Court in Vijayawada issued an order extending his judicial custody until April 22.
