Foundation Stone for Chandrababu Naidu’s House in Amaravati to Be Laid Tomorrow

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to begin construction of his personal residence in Amaravati, with the foundation stone ceremony scheduled for tomorrow, April 9. The event will take place in the presence of his family members at a site located behind the Velagapudi Secretariat, adjacent to the E9 road, where N. Chandrababu Naidu has purchased a parcel of land.

Public sentiment has reportedly been positive regarding N. Chandrababu Naidu’s decision to establish his residence in the capital region. Following the announcement of Amaravati as the state capital in 2014, N. Chandrababu Naidu had governed from the area but did not focus on building a personal home at the time, as his attention remained on capital development.

Having returned to power in 2024, N. Chandrababu Naidu is said to be determined to transform Amaravati into one of the country’s leading capitals. In pursuit of this goal, he has resumed stalled projects and accelerated the pace of development work. His decision to construct a home is seen by some as a gesture aimed at instilling public confidence in the capital’s future.

Farmers who had contributed their land for the capital project reportedly faced challenges during the tenure of the previous administration. With N. Chandrababu Naidu now taking steps to build his own house in Amaravati, these farmers are said to feel more hopeful about the region’s prospects.

Throughout the capital development process, N. Chandrababu Naidu has emphasized public participation and, during periods of controversy and opposition, has reportedly supported the capital region’s farmers. His current move to establish a residence in Amaravati is being welcomed by many in the area, who view it as a reaffirmation of commitment to the region’s growth.

Residents have also expressed optimism about the ongoing development activities, which include central funding, the arrival of key institutions, and fast-paced infrastructure work. They believe that the Chief Minister’s residence will bring added prestige and momentum to Amaravati’s future.
