IPL 2025: IPL Council Imposes ₹12 Lakh Fine on RCB Captain Rajat Patidar
In the Indian Premier League (IPL) match held on Monday between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Royal Challengers Bengaluru emerged victorious. However, following the match, Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar was fined heavily by the IPL Council.
According to official information, Rajat Patidar was penalized ₹12 lakh for a slow over rate during the match. The fine was imposed under Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct.
The match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru was intense from start to finish. Rajat Patidar played a captain’s innings in this match, striking aggressively against Mumbai’s bowling attack. He scored 64 runs off 32 balls, including four sixes and five boundaries, playing a crucial role in Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s victory.
