Tragedy at Water World: 7-Year-Old Boy Dies in Visakhapatnam

A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday in Visakhapatnam, where a seven-year-old boy died at the Water World facility located within the premises of Viswanath Sports Club. According to reports, the child, identified as Rishi, became unwell after entering the water.
The management allegedly attempted to quietly transport Rishi to a private hospital on a motorcycle without informing anyone. Upon learning of the incident, Rishi’s parents rushed to the hospital, where doctors conveyed the devastating news that the child had died before reaching the facility.
Family members of Rishi alleged that he had died within the Water World premises and that the organizers tried to conceal the incident. They staged a protest in front of the hospital, demanding accountability.
Following a notification from the hospital administration, the police arrived at the scene and transferred Rishi’s body to King George Hospital (KGH) for a post-mortem examination. Police confirmed that a case has been registered based on the complaint filed by the boy’s parents and that an investigation is currently underway.
