Woman Chef Nambie Marak Impresses Sachin with Her Cooking
Nambie Marak, a woman chef from Meghalaya, impressed renowned cricketer Sachin Tendulkar with her cooking. Expressing great joy, Nambie Marak said she felt honored to have the opportunity to serve her culinary creations to her cricket idol.
Nambie Marak, who grew up in Shillong surrounded by posters of Sachin Tendulkar on the walls of her home, described the unexpected opportunity as a blessing. When Sachin Tendulkar visited Meghalaya, she hosted him with traditional Garo cuisine from the region.
With heartfelt dedication, she prepared and served both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Nambie Marak stated that Sachin Tendulkar greatly enjoyed the food she had prepared.
She mentioned that the pumpkin chicken curry was particularly well received by him. Speaking about the experience, Chef Nambie Marak said, “Cooking for my cricket hero was a dream come true. It felt more rewarding than winning a trophy.”
