Ram Charan's 'Peddi' Glimpse Sets Sensational Record
The first glimpse of global star Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi has created a sensation across social media platforms. The teaser video has garnered over 31 million views on YouTube and currently holds the number one position on the platform. This teaser has now set a new benchmark by becoming the most viewed Telugu film glimpse within the first 24 hours of its release, amassing 31.15 million views.
Previously, this record was held by the teaser of Junior NTR’s Devara, which received 26.17 million views. However, Peddi surpassed this milestone within just 18 hours of its release. While Devara had received over 700,000 likes, Peddi crossed 400,000 likes during the same timeframe.
Fans of the Mega family are actively commenting on social media, describing the teaser as “out of the park.” Many have especially praised the final scene featuring Ram Charan, stating that his shot in the closing moments of the teaser was particularly impactful.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi features Ram Charan alongside Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role. The film also includes pivotal performances by Shiva Rajkumar, Bollywood actor Divyenndu, and Jagapathi Babu. The project is being jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Vriddhi Cinemas, and Sukumar Writings.
Peddi is scheduled for release on March 27 next year, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
