Fatal Crash in Annamayya District Claims Deputy Collector’s Life
A tragic road accident occurred in Annamayya district of Andhra Pradesh. Two cars collided head-on near Yerraguntla in the Sambepalli mandal. In this accident, HNS Peeleru Unit-2 Special Deputy Collector Rama died on the spot. Four others sustained serious injuries.
The injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment. The body of Special Deputy Collector Rama was taken to the hospital for postmortem examination. The accident occurred while she was returning from the Rayachoti Collectorate after attending a public grievances meeting.
District Collector Sridhar visited the hospital and consoled the injured. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
