Actress Dia Mirza Denies Posting AI-Generated Videos on Telangana Land Issue

Bollywood actress Dia Mirza has strongly criticised the Telangana government regarding the issue of land dealings in Kanch Gachibowli, Hyderabad. She stated that the declaration made by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing her of using fake AI-generated photos and videos to depict the situation in Kanch Gachibowli, was entirely false.
Through a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Dia Mirza clarified, “The Chief Minister of Telangana made a tweet yesterday in which he presented certain arguments about the situation at Kanch Gachibowli. One of those claims was that I used fake AI-generated images and videos in support of student protests demanding the protection of biodiversity on 400 acres of land that the government planned to auction. This is a completely false statement. I have not posted a single AI-generated image or video. All the videos I posted are original. Before making such claims, the media and the Telangana government should verify the facts.”
Dia Mirza’s comments were made in direct response to Revanth Reddy’s allegation that she misrepresented the environmental concerns surrounding the land in question, which has become the focus of activism from students and environmental advocates.
