Investigation Underway into Roja’s Alleged Corruption: SAP Chairman Ravi Naidu

Following the formation of the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh, investigations are ongoing into allegations of corruption and irregularities that reportedly occurred during the previous YSR Congress Party administration across various departments. Cases have already been registered concerning misconduct in the mining and excise departments, with the Andhra Pradesh CID currently conducting the investigation.
In this context, Telugu Desam Party leader and SAP Chairman Ravi Naidu has made critical remarks against YSR Congress Party women’s wing leader and former Minister R. K. Roja. Ravi Naidu alleged that widespread corruption and illegal activities took place during R. K. Roja’s tenure as the Minister for Tourism and Sports.
“She misused her authority as a minister to embezzle funds meant for underprivileged athletes,” alleged Ravi Naidu. He claimed that R. K. Roja had siphoned off crores of rupees intended to support financially disadvantaged sportspersons. He further stated that a comprehensive investigation is currently underway into her alleged corruption.
Ravi Naidu asserted, “It is certain that she will be sent to jail soon.” He also criticized R. K. Roja’s residence in Chennai, a neighboring state, questioning her understanding of Andhra Pradesh’s development and welfare matters. Ravi Naidu alleged that in Tirupati district, YSR Congress Party leaders have turned into “daylight deceivers.”
