Reduced Highway Toll Rates to Benefit Hyderabad–Vijayawada Commuters
Effective April 1, 2025, toll charges at the Panthangi, Korlapahad, and Chillakallu toll plazas along National Highway 65—connecting Hyderabad and Vijayawada—will be reduced for all categories of vehicles. This revision follows the annual toll rate adjustment schedule and replaces the existing fee structure that has been in place since June 3, 2024.
At the Panthangi toll plaza in Telangana (Km 60.), the revised toll for cars, jeeps, vans, and light motor vehicles is ₹80 for a single journey and ₹115 for a return journey, down from ₹95 and ₹145 respectively. For light commercial vehicles, mini buses, and light goods vehicles, the new rates are ₹125 (single) and ₹190 (return), compared to the previous ₹150 and ₹230. Buses and two-axle trucks will now be charged ₹265 and ₹395, reduced from ₹315 and ₹470. For vehicles with up to three axles, the toll has been revised to ₹290 and ₹435, from the earlier ₹485 and ₹725.

Vehicles with up to three axles will be charged ₹450 and ₹675, a reduction from ₹665 and ₹995.
At the Chillakallu toll plaza in Andhra Pradesh (Km 205), the new charges for cars, jeeps, and vans are ₹105 for a single journey and ₹155 for a return journey, slightly lower than the previous ₹110 and ₹160. For buses and trucks, the revised toll is ₹350 (single) and ₹520 (return), marginally down from ₹355 and ₹530. Vehicles with up to three axles will now pay ₹380 and ₹570, compared to the earlier ₹545 and ₹820.
The updated toll rates will remain in effect until the next scheduled revision on March 31, 2026. These changes are part of routine adjustments applied to public-funded toll plazas under National Highway Authority guidelines.
