KCR Camp Office Displayed with ‘To-Let’ Board by Protesters
Both Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have expressed anger, alleging that KCR has not visited his Gajwel constituency even once despite fifteen months passing since his election as an MLA. They have criticized him for staying at his farmhouse without interacting with the people who voted him into power.
On Wednesday, BJP and Congress leaders from Gajwel held separate protests over this issue. They staged sit-ins in front of KCR’s camp office in Gajwel and affixed a ‘To-Let’ board to the office gate. They also raised slogans claiming the MLA was “missing” and “wanted.” Furthermore, they filed complaints at Gajwel and Gauraram police stations, alleging that their MLA has been inaccessible and demanding that KCR resign from his MLA position if he is unwilling to meet his constituents.
In response to the BJP’s protests, BRS Gajwel constituency in-charge Vanteru Pratap Reddy expressed outrage, alleging that BJP leaders broke the locks of the MLA camp office and made inappropriate remarks against KCR. He lodged a complaint with the police against the BJP leaders for their actions.
