Revanth Reddy attends court in defamation suit

Hyderabad, March 27, 2015: Telangana TDP leader Revanth Reddy on Friday attended a court hearing at Nampally here in connection with the defamation suit filed by My Home industries group chairman Rameswara Rao against him. Rameswara Rao filed a Rs.90 Cr defamation suit against Revanth Reddy after the latter had leveled allegations charging the former with illegally grabbing the lands allotted for Gaming City at Rayadurg and indulging in land deals on behalf of chief minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao. Rameswara Rao had denied the charges and served defamation notice arguing that the charges had defamed his company's clean reputation. After receiving the notices, Reventh had alleged that KCR and his son KTR were behind the notices.
