Saudi-led air forces bomb Yemen's Sanaa, Taiz

Sanaa, March 27 , 2015: The Saudi-led coalition forces launched a fresh air strike against military targets in Yemen's capital Sanaa and the southern province of Taiz on Thursday night, sources told Xinhua. The airstrike in Sanaa hit a military base affiliated with the reserve forces, which is the former elite republican guards loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh, a security officer said on condition of anonymity. Another struck an infantry base at the western suburb of the capital, which is also affiliated with the reserve forces. The Houthi fighters responded the air raid with intensified anti-aircraft artillery, which can be heard across the city. Before bombing the capital, the Saudi fighter jets raided the southern province of Taiz, which is under control of the Houthi group.

Yemeni President Abdrabbo Mansour Hadi arrived in the Saudi Arabia's capital of Riyadh, media reported. Upon arrival at Riyadh Airbase on Thursday, Hadi was received by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, also the defence minister, the president of the Royal Court and special advisor to the Saudi King, as well as Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, the chief of General Intelligence, Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.
Pak warns anti-Saudi forces
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif asserted that any threat to Saudi Arabia's territorial integrity would evoke a strong response from Pakistan. Sharif said this while chairing a high-level meeting at the prime minister's house to discuss recent developments in the Middle East and to examine Saudi Arabia's request to join the Gulf-led operation against Houthi rebels in Yemen, said a statement issued by prime minister's house on Thursday, Dawn online reported.
Hezbollah condemns military intervention in Yemen
Lebanese Shia militant group Hezbollah condemned on Thursday the Saudi-led military intervention in Yemen against Shia Houthi rebels, a joint effort that has garnered the participation of eight other Arab countries in addition to Pakistan. "Hezbollah strongly condemns the US-Saudi aggression targeting the brotherly people of Yemen, its national army and its vital facilities. Hezbollah also condemns the participation of some Arab and non-Arab countries in this aggression, and the political cover it was provided to do so," said the Lebanese Shia group in a statement released on Thursday.
