AP Legislators’ Sports Competitions Begin; MLA Vijay Kumar Hospitalized After Injury
Sports competitions are being organized for Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada. These events have witnessed enthusiastic participation from legislators.
During one of the matches, Santanutalapadu MLA Vijay Kumar from Prakasam district sustained injuries. While fielding in a cricket match, he fell and suffered facial injuries. Medical personnel immediately provided first aid, but as stitches were required, he was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
The three-day sports event for public representatives was inaugurated on Tuesday evening by Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu.
