Dhaka Court Issues Major Blow to Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina
A Dhaka court has issued orders to seize the assets of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members. The court's directive includes the freezing of 124 bank accounts as part of the action.

Sheikh Hasina, who is currently in India, resigned from her position as Prime Minister following violent unrest that erupted in Bangladesh in August last year. The protests led to widespread violence, prompting her to seek refuge in India. Since then, the Bangladesh government has made multiple efforts to bring her back, including revoking her passport and formally requesting the Indian government to extradite her. However, India has not responded positively to these requests.

The latest court ruling marks a significant legal action against Hasina, as Bangladeshi authorities proceed with the seizure of her and her family's assets.
