Major Bus Accident in Annamayya District: Rescue Operations Underway

A severe road accident occurred near Rayalpadu in Annamayya district, resulting in the immediate death of two individuals and serious injuries to 40 others. Among the injured, the condition of five is reported to be critical.

The accident took place in the early hours of Wednesday when two private travel buses collided head-on. Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene and initiated rescue operations. The injured were transported to government hospitals in Kolar, Srinivasapuram, and Madanapalle for medical treatment.

The police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation into the incident.
