Pithapuram is Pawan Kalyan’s Stronghold; Varma’s Issue is TDP’s Internal Matter: Nadendla Manohar

Janasena PAC Chairman and Minister Nadendla Manohar responded to the controversy surrounding former Pithapuram TDP MLA SVSN Varma not securing an MLC ticket. He acknowledged Varma’s seniority in politics and his long-standing journey, stating that he has faced numerous challenges over the years.

Manohar clarified that the allocation of positions is decided by the leadership of respective parties, and Varma’s case is an internal matter of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He also recognized Varma’s support for Pawan Kalyan in the previous elections, expressing respect for him and hoping he receives due recognition.

Praising Pawan Kalyan’s leadership, Manohar remarked that the Jana Sena Party chief prioritizes others over himself when it comes to holding positions of power.

Addressing a reporter’s question on whether Pendem Dorababu’s recent induction into Jana Sena was intended as a countermeasure against Varma, Manohar dismissed the notion. He explained that Dorababu had intended to join before the elections but could not do so due to certain reasons.

"Dorababu is like a family member to us—he is a humble individual. There is no need for such strategies. Why would we need to counter anyone? This is Pawan Kalyan’s constituency. Who would we even counter here? Pithapuram is completely Pawan Kalyan’s stronghold, and there’s no need for further discussion on that matter," Manohar asserted.
