Malayalam Crime Thriller Set to Stream on Another OTT Platform!

The Malayalam crime thriller Rekhachitram, starring Asif Ali and Anashwara Rajan in lead roles, became a major box-office success. Released on January 9, the film emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year, setting new records. Directed by Jofin T. Chacko, the film belongs to the mystery crime thriller genre.

The movie is already available for streaming on Sony LIV, including its Telugu-dubbed version. However, in a new development aimed at Telugu audiences, Rekhachitram is now set to premiere on the popular Telugu OTT platform Aha. The official announcement, accompanied by a promotional poster, confirmed that the movie will be available for streaming on Aha from March 14.

Both Asif Ali and Anashwara Rajan are well-known to Telugu audiences through their previous OTT releases. Additionally, veteran actor Mammootty makes a special guest appearance in the film, adding to its appeal.

The plot revolves around Rajendran, a wealthy man who visits a forested area and records a selfie video confessing that 40 years ago, he and his friends buried a young woman there. After leaving the message, he dies by suicide. Authorities later discover a woman's remains at the exact location. This raises key questions: Who was the woman? Who was responsible for her death? And who were Rajendran’s accomplices? The film unfolds as a gripping investigation into these mysteries.
