China-Pakistan Nexus a Concern for India, Says Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi

India is facing a potential war threat from two neighboring countries simultaneously, stated Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi. Speaking at an event organized by a national media outlet, he addressed questions regarding military preparedness, border security, and regional developments, including issues related to Bangladesh.

Upendra Dwivedi remarked that China and Pakistan are colluding against India, subtly indicating concerns over their strategic alignment. He highlighted that Pakistan, being a hub of terrorism, forming close ties with any neighboring country is a cause for concern, as there is a risk of Pakistan using such relationships to further its terror-related activities.

He further noted that Pakistan is utilizing military equipment manufactured in China, emphasizing that this is the current state of their collaboration. According to Upendra Dwivedi, India must acknowledge the reality of the conspiratorial ties between the two nations.

On Bangladesh, he cautioned that it would be premature to arrive at any definitive conclusions at this stage. However, he affirmed that the military relationship between India and Bangladesh remains strong.
