Major Route Change: Chennai and Gorakhpur Express Trains to Begin from Charlapalli

The Indian Railways has decided to change the starting station of two express trains currently operating from Hyderabad and Secunderabad. As per the new directive, the Chennai Central–Hyderabad Express (12603), Hyderabad–Chennai Central Express (12604), Gorakhpur–Secunderabad Express (12589), and Secunderabad–Gorakhpur Express (12590) will now originate from Charlapalli instead of their previous terminals.

Following this change, these trains will be rebranded as Chennai Central–Charlapalli Express, Charlapalli–Chennai Central Express, Gorakhpur–Charlapalli Express, and Charlapalli–Gorakhpur Express. The Chennai Central-bound express train from Charlapalli commenced operations yesterday, while the changes for the Gorakhpur–Charlapalli and Charlapalli–Gorakhpur trains will come into effect on March 12 and 13, according to railway officials.
