"I Provoked Kohli to Hit a Six, But He Remained Calm": Pakistan Spinner
Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed revealed that he had deliberately provoked Indian cricket star Virat Kohli to hit a six while bowling to him. However, Kohli did not lose his composure. Abrar described Kohli not only as an exceptional cricketer but also as a person with a great heart.

Abrar got the opportunity to bowl to Kohli during a match between India and Pakistan in the Champions Trophy. Although Pakistan lost the game by six wickets, the match remained a cherished memory for him. Speaking to Telecom Asia Sports, Abrar shared that bowling to Kohli had been his childhood dream, which was finally fulfilled in a recent match in Dubai.

He stated that bowling to Kohli was a significant challenge and expressed his satisfaction in successfully restraining him with strong bowling. Abrar recalled how he tried to instigate Kohli by daring him to hit a six, but the Indian batsman stayed calm and did not react emotionally. "Kohli is not just a great player but also a wonderful human being," he remarked.

After the match, Kohli praised Abrar’s bowling, telling him, "You bowled brilliantly." Abrar described that moment as unforgettable. He further revealed that since his early days, he had admired Kohli and frequently told his Under-19 teammates that one day he would get the chance to bowl to him.

Praising Kohli’s fitness, Abrar noted that his running between the wickets was remarkable and an inspiring sight. He concluded by calling Kohli a truly special cricketer.
