"Dismiss the Cases": Posani Files Quash Petition in Andhra Pradesh High Court

Cine actor Posani Krishna Murali has approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court, seeking the dismissal of multiple cases filed against him. Stating that cases have been registered against him in several police stations across the state, he requested the court to direct the police to halt any further legal proceedings. He also sought interim orders to prevent further action in these cases.

The cases against Posani Krishna Murali stem from allegations that he made statements creating factionalism within the film industry and made inappropriate remarks against Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan. Around 16 cases have reportedly been registered against him in Andhra Pradesh on these grounds.

Initially, Rayachoti police arrested Posani Krishna Murali in Hyderabad. Subsequently, Narasaraopet police took him into custody based on a prisoner transit (PT) warrant. On Tuesday, Adoni police took him into custody from Guntur Jail. Reports suggest that he has been transferred from Guntur to Adoni.
