Frequent Jail Transfers a Conspiracy Against Posani, Says Ambati Rambabu

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Ambati Rambabu has strongly criticized the police action against actor and filmmaker Posani Krishna Murali, alleging that he is being deliberately harassed by being transferred from one jail to another. His remarks come in response to the Adoni police moving Posani from Guntur jail under a PT (Prisoner Transit) warrant.

Expressing his discontent, Ambati Rambabu pointed out that Posani, who is 67 years old, has been moved to three different police stations in just three days. “They brought Posani from Railway Koduru to Narasaraopet, then from Narasaraopet to Guntur sub-jail, and now they are saying he will be taken to Adoni, which is about 400 kilometers away. Subjecting a 67-year-old man to such treatment is inhumane,” he stated.

He further criticized the police for transporting Posani in a police jeep, despite his alleged health issues. “Everyone knows how uncomfortable a police jeep is. Taking an ailing person in such a manner is nothing short of deliberate harassment,” he alleged.

Ambati Rambabu also claimed that 16 cases have been filed against Posani for the same issue. “We will look into this matter. This is a conspiracy orchestrated by the police system in collusion with Nara Lokesh,” he alleged.

"Did he commit an international conspiracy? They have filed 16 cases just because he spoke in the media. This entire process is a premeditated attempt to trouble him for the next two to three months. If this is not ‘Red Book Constitution,’ then what is? The government wants to intimidate all those who support YSRCP,” he stated, vowing to fight the issue legally.
