MLC Elections: Another Coalition Candidate Secures a Resounding Victory
Perabathula Rajasekhar, the coalition candidate, has emerged victorious in the graduate MLC election for the combined East and West Godavari districts. He defeated PDF candidate Didla Veeraraghavulu. By the end of the seventh round, Rajasekhar had established a lead of 70,000 votes. The counting for the eighth round is currently underway, and slight variations in the final majority are expected once it concludes.
Meanwhile, Alapati Raja has already been elected as the MLC for the combined Krishna-Guntur graduate constituency.
Expressing his happiness over the victory, Perabathula Rajasekhar stated, "I am delighted to have secured such a significant win." He extended his gratitude to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for nominating him as the coalition candidate and also thanked the graduate voters of both districts. He assured that he would work towards protecting the rights of graduates.
Rajasekhar also criticized the previous government, alleging that it had acted irresponsibly towards unemployed youth.
