CM MK Stalin Urges Couples to Have Children Amid Lok Sabha Delimitation Concerns
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has made significant remarks regarding the upcoming delimitation process of Lok Sabha constituencies. Speaking at an event in Nagapattinam on Monday, he urged newly married couples to have children soon, emphasizing that this would benefit the state.

Stalin expressed concern that Tamil Nadu’s representation in the Lok Sabha might decrease if constituencies are reorganized based on population. He reiterated his previous statements on the matter, recalling that he had earlier advised couples to take their time in having children but noted that the situation had now changed.

“The central government is preparing for the delimitation of constituencies. If we do not increase our population, we will suffer losses,” Stalin stated. He also urged people to name newborns with Tamil names, reinforcing the cultural identity of the state.

Meanwhile, to discuss this issue further, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government has scheduled a large-scale all-party meeting on March 5. Reports indicate that invitations have already been sent to over 40 political parties recognized by the Election Commission.
