Chandrababu Advised Me to Work for Both Telugu States: Ram Mohan Naidu
Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, held a press conference today at Kawadiguda, Hyderabad. Another Union Minister, G. Kishan Reddy, also participated in the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Ram Mohan Naidu revealed that after he assumed office as a Union Minister, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu gave him a key piece of advice. “Chandrababu Naidu guided me to work not just for Andhra Pradesh but for the development of both Telugu states,” he stated. He further added, “He advised me to put in as much effort for Telangana’s aviation sector as I do for Andhra Pradesh’s.”

Ram Mohan Naidu acknowledged the experience of G. Kishan Reddy as a Union Minister and said that he is taking guidance from senior leaders. “With the support of experienced leaders, I am moving forward,” he remarked.

He expressed his happiness over the recent clearance granted for Warangal Airport during his tenure, stating that it was a long-awaited decision. He mentioned that Warangal Airport was once one of the largest in Asia and remained operational until 1981.

Ram Mohan Naidu highlighted the growth of the aviation sector under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. “Since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, a revolution has taken place in the country’s aviation sector. In the last ten years, the number of airports in India has increased from 79 to 150,” he stated. He emphasized that airports have been established even in smaller cities, making air travel more accessible.

The minister further noted that the clearance of Mamnoor Airport in Warangal is a momentous development for the local people. “This has been a long-standing aspiration of the people here. Despite Warangal being a major city, there was no progress on the airport issue in the past. Now, that dream has been fulfilled,” he said.
