We Will Record the Names of Attackers in the Pink Book: Kavitha Warns
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has warned that the names of those responsible for attacks on her party leaders and workers will be recorded in the "Pink Book." She stated that when the time comes, the party will take appropriate action.
Speaking to the media today at Singotam village in Kollapur Mandal, alongside former MLA Harshavardhan Reddy and MLC Naveen Kumar Reddy, Kavitha criticized Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao for allegedly canceling funds previously allocated for the Singotam Lingakara Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple. She stated that former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had sanctioned ₹17 crore for the temple’s development, but Jupally Krishna Rao revoked these funds, which she described as an unjust decision.
Kavitha emphasized that projects initiated by one government should be continued by the next to ensure public benefit. She alleged that the cancellation of these temple development funds was akin to harboring a grudge against not just the people but also the deity. Kavitha demanded that the revoked funds be immediately reinstated and utilized for the temple’s development.
She further alleged that BRS leaders in Kollapur constituency were being harassed through police cases for posting content critical of the government on social media. Kavitha also accused political opponents of being responsible for the murder of BRS worker Sridhar Reddy.
Targeting Jupally Krishna Rao, she criticized his role as Tourism Minister, alleging that he rarely visits Kollapur and only treats the constituency as a "tourist destination."
