Posani Krishna Murali Assigned Prisoner Number 2261 in Rajampet Jail

Cine actor Posani Krishna Murali has been remanded in judicial custody and transferred to Rajampet Sub-Jail. As previously reported, the Railway Koduru Court ordered a 14-day remand for him. Jail authorities have assigned him prisoner number 2261.

Posani was interrogated at the Obulavaripalle Police Station in Annamaiah district until 9 PM last night. He was then presented before the court at 9:30 PM. The court proceedings continued until 5 AM, during which Posani’s lawyer, Ponnavolu Sudhakar, argued for bail. However, the judge rejected the bail request and ordered remand. Posani will remain in judicial custody until March 13.

During the hearing, the court made a significant observation regarding Posani’s statements. It ruled that his remarks about women fall under the category of sexual harassment.
