Posani Admits to Remarks in Court, Claims He Spoke Out of Anguish

Actor and filmmaker Posani Krishna Murali has been remanded by the Railway Koduru Court in connection with a case related to controversial remarks he made against Pawan Kalyan and N. Chandrababu Naidu. The case was investigated by the Obulavaripalle police in Annamayya district, who questioned Posani for nine hours before presenting him before the Railway Koduru Magistrate.

The court proceedings, which lasted nearly seven hours from 9:30 PM to 5:00 AM, involved extensive arguments from both sides. After hearing the arguments, the judge ordered a 14-day remand for Posani.

During the court hearing, Posani admitted to making the statements in question. He explained that he was deeply hurt because his wife had been subjected to verbal abuse, which led him to respond emotionally. He asserted that his statements were truthful but expressed frustration that only his remarks were highlighted while the offensive comments directed at his wife were removed. He also claimed that the videos containing derogatory remarks about his wife had been taken down from social media platforms.
