PT Usha Meets Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu

Indian Olympic Association President and Rajya Sabha Member PT Usha met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. During the meeting, she requested that Andhra Pradesh be given the opportunity to host the National Games in 2029. Chandrababu Naidu himself disclosed this information.

The Chief Minister, in a statement on the social media platform 'X,' mentioned that he discussed a new sports policy and athlete training with PT Usha at his residence in Undavalli. He also stated that he sought PT Usha’s support in establishing a regional center of the Sports Authority of India in Andhra Pradesh.

Additionally, discussions were held regarding the establishment of a National Center of Excellence in Amaravati and plans for developing a Sports City. Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed the Telugu Desam Party government’s commitment to providing opportunities for talented young athletes.
