Jagan Reaches Out to Posani’s Wife After Actor’s Arrest

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy reached out to Kusumalata, the wife of actor Posani Krishna Murali, following Posani’s arrest by the Andhra Pradesh police. Jagan reportedly assured Kusumalata of the party’s support and urged her to remain strong, stating, “God is watching everything. Stay strong; we are all with you.” He also mentioned that party leaders, including Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy, were sent to the court in support of Posani.

Posani Krishna Murali was arrested at his residence in Hyderabad and was subsequently transferred to the Obulavaripalle police station in Annamayya district. His arrest follows a complaint lodged by Jana Sena leader Jogimani, accusing him of making inappropriate remarks against Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and his family. Based on this complaint, the police registered a case under Sections 196, 353(2), and 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Jagan Mohan Reddy also commented on the political climate, stating that oppressive governance in the state would not last long.
