Non-Bailable Cases Filed Against Posani Krishna Murali; To Be Presented in Rajampet Court
Andhra Pradesh police have arrested actor and filmmaker Posani Krishna Murali. He was taken into custody by Rayachoti police from his residence in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Authorities are expected to transfer him to the Obulavaripalle police station shortly.
The arrest follows a complaint filed by Jana Sena leader Mani, leading to multiple cases against Posani Krishna Murali. According to police reports, a total of 11 cases have been registered against him under non-bailable sections, including Sections 196, 353(2), 111 read with 3(5) of the IPC.
The cases stem from allegations that he made objectionable remarks against political leaders, including N. Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh, during the previous YSR Congress Party government. Additionally, he faces charges related to his critical comments on the Nandi Awards.
Authorities have stated that Posani Krishna Murali will undergo a medical examination before being presented in court.
