MG Comet Black Storm Edition Launched in India at ₹7.8 Lakh

MG India has launched the ‘Black Storm’ edition of its Comet electric vehicle (EV), introducing a distinctive all-black design. The ex-showroom price for this edition is ₹7.8 lakh, with the battery cost being additional. Customers can pre-book the car by paying a ₹11,000 token amount.

The Black Storm edition offers a range of 230 kilometers on a single charge. Using a 7.4 kW charger, the battery reaches full charge in 3.5 hours. The car’s motor generates 41 horsepower and 110 Nm torque.

Key features of this edition include 12-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, full-black interiors with red highlights, foldable viewing mirrors, manual AC/heating, and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The MG Comet Black Storm edition is positioned as a competitor to models like the Tata Tiago EV and Citroën eC3 in the Indian market.
